PhD Student

Lisa Daniel-Fischer is a resident at the Department of Pediatric Nephrology and Gastroenterology at the Medical University of Vienna. Her research focuses on pediatric aspects of peritoneal dialysis, with a particular interest in immunomodulatory processes and the clinical integration of translational research data. She is currently completing her PhD studies in the PaSi PoET program under the supervision of Rebecca Herzog.

Dr. Fabian Eibensteiner

PhD Student

Fabian Eibensteiner is a resident at the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, with a clinical focus on pediatric nephrology. He is currently pursuing a PhD within the POeT programme at the Medical University of Vienna and recently completed one year of advanced statistical training on a scholarship at the Center for Medical Data Science at the Medical University of Vienna. His research explores systemic inflammation in peritoneal dialysis. By integrating multi-omics approaches, his work aims to improve our understanding of the mechanisms underlying inflammation and its impact on patient outcomes.
